The Coolest Mini Materials Builds of 2020 (on Instagram)

Posted by Mini Materials on

This year has been a bummer for a lot of people. In the hopes of bringing some miniature joy to everyone, we are counting down the top ten coolest builds our customers have made on Instagram in 2020.

Without further ado...

We kick it off with an awesome Star Wars build. Cool photography + miniatures always win (as long as Jar Jar isn't involved).

We made this awesome miniature dresser scene with our flat pack furniture that makes us sleep!

Continuing the theme of awesome movie scenes with Mini Materials, this Avengers piece makes great use of our miniature mid century modern flat pack furniture!

There's nothing like fingerboarding on our miniature jersey barriers!

Make sure to scroll through all of the pictures on this amazing mini garden setup with our breezeblocks.

Totally enjoyed using the miniature breeze blocks from @minimaterials for my latest garden display last weekend! 😁 It was the PERFECT addition to my contemporary miniature garden idea. 😍 How I did that: I traced the curve of the pot on a piece of paper so I could have a guide to glue the blocks to fit along the rim of the bowl. 🤓 Then used E6000 silicone glue to tack them together in the curve. 👩‍🏫 I let glue dry on each row, one at a time - it’s much easier and less-of-a-mess than trying to glue it all at once. 👩🏼‍🎨 The tiny pebbles from TwoGreenThumbs.com were perfect to use with the brick pavers!! 😎 My ONLY complaint @minimaterials is - Can you make us MORE DESIGNS of breeze blocks to play with? 😬 Pretty please? 🙏🏻😁Thank you for making such fun miniature building supplies! 😍#gardendesign #miniatures #minigsociety #miniaturegarden

Flat Pack furniture and fingerboards just go together!

Any time Tiny Doors ATL uses our miniatures we love it. The use of cinder blocks and lumber as decoration is killer!

Star wars and Mini Materials seems to be a common occurance

This is one of the most amazing pieces of miniatures we've ever seen using our mini cinder blocks. On top of that, the photography is top notch!

Miniature pottery just makes us smile

Fingerboarding has been a constant source of happiness for us here at Mini Materials. We love to see our new bench put to good use!

We are constantly amazed by the miniature figure photographers, especially when they work with these well known characters.

To continue our fingerboarding journey, we wanted to show how our customers create custom fingerboard parks using Mini Materials!

Just because we have to stop some time, we finish with this awesome mini cinder block necklace with an even "mini-er" person sitting inside of it. Super creative!

What did I make with those tiny cinder blocks 👷🏼‍♀️ this week you ask? As per @modernwhichcraft’s request I made a little necklace prototype. Let me know if you’re interested in commissioning one, they’re very light weight. Also keep sending your ideas for what I should do next with these tiny cinder blocks. (Note: the necklace is stacked on two additional cinder blocks for display in the first two photos. The last photo shows the necklace hanging). . . . . #mini #miniature #diorama #nscale #smallsculpture #tiny #modelfigures #art #denverartist #coloradoartist #redlinedenver #denver #colorado #denverart #coloradoart #contemporaryart #contemporaryartist #tinyart #miniart #miniatureart #artworlddenver #minicinderblocks
